Our Designsvgfile User Guide provides instructions on how to open .ZIP files.
Before using the file on your cutting machine, such as Cricut, Silhouette, Design Space, etc., you will need to extract the .ZIP folder. If you already know how to do this, there is no need to read this guide.
After purchasing, you will be able to download our file in a compressed .ZIP folder. Here are the steps to open a .ZIP file on different operating systems:
For Mac users:
- Locate the .ZIP file and double-click on it.
- The file will be extracted to a folder in the same location as the original .ZIP file.
- You can delete the .ZIP file if you wish.
For Windows 7 and 10 users:
- Right-click on the .ZIP file and choose "Extract All."
- Choose where you want the .ZIP folder to be extracted.
- Keep the "Show extracted files when complete" unchecked.
- Click the "Extract" button to start unzipping the files.
- Your .ZIP files will be located in the selected location.
- You can delete or keep the .ZIP file as per your preference.
For Windows XP and Vista users:
- Double-click on the .ZIP file.
- Click on the "Extract all files" link.
- An Extraction Wizard will open. Click "Next."
- Choose where you want the unzipped folder to go.
- Click "Finish."
- You can find your unzipped files in the selected location.
- You can delete or keep the .ZIP file.
